The other side of Alice
Had a break. Back to writing my thinking and life. A poem on Alice in the here and now.
Try the heart: it’s a lean meat.
Eat. It tastes of old blood.
Wash it down with wine
or spit it out at your feet.
Drink me. Eat me. Alice, child,
there’s nothing that will make
you grow now.
